Get the Most from Your Okean Candles

Your premium candle deserves proper care to deliver the best experience. Follow these expert tips to maximize burn time, scent throw, and enjoyment.

🔥 The First Burn Rule

Most important tip: Your first burn sets the stage for your candle's entire life. Always burn until the wax melts completely to the edges of the container.

  • 8oz candles: Burn for 2-3 hours on first use
  • 12oz candles: Burn for 3-4 hours on first use

This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.

✂️ Wick Trimming

Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn for:

  • A clean, even flame
  • Reduced soot and smoke
  • Longer burn time
  • Better scent throw

Use wick trimmers or scissors, and remove any debris from the wax pool.

⏱️ Burn Time Guidelines

  • Maximum burn time: 4 hours per session
  • Cooling period: Let candle cool for at least 2 hours between burns
  • Never leave unattended: Always extinguish before leaving the room

🌸 Maximizing Scent Throw

Get the most fragrance from your candle:

  • Start in smaller rooms (bathrooms, bedrooms) for concentrated scent
  • Close doors to contain fragrance
  • Burn for at least 2 hours to allow scent to develop
  • Keep away from drafts and vents

  • Let wax cool completely
  • Remove crystal and rinse with warm water

Don't throw away that beautiful glass! Clean and repurpose:

  • To clean: Pour boiling water into cooled vessel, let wax float to top, remove once hardened

Keep your candles fresh:
